An old Chinese myth "rebottled" like old wine in new wineskins takes us on a journey in time, space and emotions. Obligation, beauty, freedom, truth, love and fairies.
南朝刘义庆的志怪小说集《幽明录》中有一则著名的小故事“阮肇刘晨天台遇仙”：相传东汉时两名采药人在天台山迷路，在桃溪边遇见仙女，结为伉俪，半年后采药人返乡，发现竟已沧海桑田。
本剧从现代人的视角，挖掘这则小故事里隐藏的一个更为残酷的故事。
